Description

The “One Belt and One Road (OBOR) Initiative” is an innovative idea proposed by China aimed at promoting common prosperity in the world. Not only the OBOR initiative would stimulate Asian and global economic growth and make it more sustainable, it should make sustainable and climate friendly efforts for not putting the world at risk from worsening pollution and severe climate change. While the initiative has gained more and more recognition and response, social helmsmanship of technological innovation in the direction of sustainability has been recognized as a very challenging task as well. Therefore, the session will focus on the mechanisms, risk analysis and management methods, the research and application of technologies for building a green and sustainable world in the ‘the Belt and Road’ context.

As a section of the International Conference on Silk Roads Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development (ICSRRSD 2019), the “Academician session: Technology development for a sustainable world (TDSW)” will be held at Beijing International Convention Centre, Beijing, China on May 11, 2019.

The session would invite the academicians of European Academy of Sciences and Arts, the famous experts and researcher from all continents to participate in the conference. The session will include keynotes, invited lecture, and oral presentation. The event will serve as a platform for academic exploration, experience exchange, and thought inspiration amongst the practitioners engaged in technology development including researchers, academics, and students.
